I am a Denver based guitarist, dobro player, and audio engineer who focuses mainly on musical performance in such genres as jazz, fusion, bluegrass, country and rock. As an audio engineer, my work consists of recording, mixing, and mastering my own music projects, with an emphasis on recording jazz and bluegrass groups.
In addition to performing and recording, I have been a guitar and dobro instructor for several years at Castle Rock Music, where I have been teaching a variety of styles to students of all age groups and skill levels.
A proud alumnus of CU Denver, where I obtained a dual bachelor’s degree in Jazz Guitar Performance and Audio Engineering in 2021, it brings me great joy to remain an integral part of my alma mater, currently teaching a couple of undergraduate classes and private tutoring classes there.
I am also currently working with several bands in Denver, such as jazz fusion group Messenger Music Collective and the Jason Bower Jazz Quintet, as well as a number of bluegrass bands, including new grass/ jam grass band High Lonesome, the Bluegrass Album tribute band Colorado Connection, and the Timberline Troubadours. In addition, I contributed my musical skills to various other artists and projects, such as Bonnie Utter: Strange Dame, the French Opera "Blacksmith", an Opera Lafayette production, America band Jon E.Boothe and the Nightwatch, and pianist Bharat Bhargava.
